学生的权利 & Responsibilities

As a 雪的大学 student, you have the right to know the following information:

What financial aid 项目 are available and how to apply for them;
Procedures and deadlines for submitting the FAFSA and any additional forms for financial 援助;
All records and information submitted with your application for financial aid are confidential, and is subject to legal requirements (FERPA) concerning disclosure of such information, parents will need a student's permission to know any information in a student's file even though some of the information was provided by the parent;
Cost of attendance and how financial need is determined;
The type and amount of assistance you will receive, and how and when you will be p援助;
The eligibility criteria for awarding 援助;
The terms and conditions of any loan you accept;
The job description and starting pay rate for any student job you accept;
How Satisfactory Academic Progress is determined;
That you can appeal your Satisfactory Academic Progress status;
Requirements in the case of withdrawal, refunds, and repayment of financial 援助;
Your financial aid package can be reviewed upon your request if you or your family’s financial circumstances have changed or there is change in your family do to death 或离婚;
Campus security, crime statistics and all other Student Right to Know information.

As a student, you have the responsibility to:

Come to college financially prepared. Establish plans to meet your educational and living expenses (金融援助 is only one resource that will not cover your entire cost of education);
Obtain and complete any necessary financial aid application forms and submit them in a timely manner. June 1st is the first priority deadline for fall semester;
Read, understand, and retain copies of all information and/or forms that are sent to you and all other documents you sign;
To regularly check your 雪的大学 student email account for correspondence from Snow and the 金融援助 & 奖学金办公室;
To provide complete and correct information. Reporting false or misleading information may result in you being fined up to $20,000, sent to prison, or both;
To contact the Student 金融援助 Office if you want your loan reduced or canceled. Once you have completed the Federal Direct 工作人员ord Loan Master Promissory Note, and completed Loan Entrance 咨询 if you are a first-time borrower. 你必须联系 our office in writing within 14 days of the disbursement if you want the loan reduced or canceled, unless a refund of loan funds has already been disbursed by the Snow College 业务办公室;
To meet the Satisfactory Academic Progress policies and standards of 雪的大学 in order to maintain financial aid eligibility;
To attend and complete all of the classes, until the end of the semester, for which 你已经注册了.
Register and attend classes for the number of hours required for your aid disbursement;
To report to the 雪的大学金融援助 Office any money you receive from sources outside of 雪的大学 (i.e. Rotary 奖学金, Lion's Club 奖学金, employee 报销. other scholarships, Rehabilitation funds etc.);
Read, understand, and retain copies of all information and/or forms that are sent to you and all other documents you sign;
Comply with the provisions of any aid received, as well as any promissory note(s) and all other agreements you sign;
Keep the 雪的大学注册商's office informed of any change of address, name or marital status while you are a student, and until all student loans have been repaid 在完整;
Perform satisfactorily in any work assignments accepted through student employment 项目.
Use aid only for educational expenses related to attending 雪的大学:
